Check and Chop provides digital tools designed to assist businesses, particularly food businesses, with record keeping, allergen label preparation and food-safety workflows.

2. Account registration

Certain features require an account. By registering, you agree that:

• The information you provide is accurate and kept up to date
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account

3. User responsibilities

Users are responsible for the accuracy and suitability of information entered into and produced through the platform.

• You must verify all generated labels before use
• You remain responsible for legal compliance with food-safety and allergen regulations
• Check and Chop assists record keeping but does not replace regulatory responsibility

4. Compliance and food safety

The platform is designed to support compliance-related work. It does not provide legal advice, determine which rules apply to your business, or guarantee compliance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
• Copy, distribute or reverse engineer the software without permission

6. Intellectual property

Software, design, branding and content provided by Check and Chop remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable law.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Check and Chop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service or create a security risk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will show when changes were made.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
